KAREN PE'ER
Karen Pe’er (she/her) is a Toronto-based visual artist and mother whose work is rooted in cultural heritage and lived experience within the Jewish diaspora.
Her practice explores themes of home, memory, and identity, drawing from the personal and collective histories of the Yemenite Jewish community. Through material exploration and storytelling, Pe’er brings forward narratives that were once held in silence, honouring resilience and preserving cultural memory across generations.
