Jeanette Hayes is a NYC based painter and multimedia artist whose work addresses the traditional preservation of non-traditional technological imagery through her painting, video, photoshop work and internet collages. Her interests include cultural phenomena and the confrontation of conventionality and subject matter.
Jeanette was recently commissioned to paint a sixty five foot wall mural in 2019 at the Hudson Yards in New York City, pictured below. Makeup icon Pat MaGrath in 2019 featured her paintings as the backdrop for a fashion spread. Jeanette recently mounted a solo show PARADISE??? at Castor Gallery (New York) and has been featured in shows in NYC at Bowery Gallery, Half Gallery, the Hole, Anonymous Gallery, Johannes Vogt Gallery in East Hampton, as well as included in Jo Shane + Maripol’s room at SPRING/BREAK Art Show 2016. Along with multiple print collaborations with Exhibition A, Hayes has collaborated with Vogue.com and has created digital content for Playboy Magazine, Chanel, and Alexander Wang.
From Chicago, Hayes graduated from the Pratt Institute in 2011, and currently lives and works in New York City.
