SOLO EXIBITION
In “Room For Art” emerging artist Mike Rachlis creates a series of paintings that are simultaneously polished and crumbling, using paint to carefully render as the dripping wet chaotic substance it is. These paintings are constructed half-narratives, purposely feeling both distant and intimate. This body of work was inspired by French rococo and the hedonism of that era. The celebration of excess with danger right around the corner.
