Artist Statement
As a photographer, I find it fascinating how the passage of time can change the way we view things. I'm drawn to subjects that are old and decaying because they tell a story and evoke emotions. Inspired by the iconic album cover of Led Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti, there is something about building facades that I find appealing. They tell a story. They sing. To me, everything in the universe has a rhythm, everything dances, and I want to capture that in my pictures.
Although photography is my primary art form, I have also spent 26 years refining my skills in woodworking and imaging industries. Through the amalgamation of all this knowledge, I have developed my unique process that employs reflective aluminum foil, translucent inks, and a glossy finish to bring my images to life. This extraordinary method produces colorful, vibrant, and life-like art that leaves a lasting impact on everyone who sees it. As everything is done in-house, the utmost care and precision are ensured for each piece crafted.
