Artist Statement
In Lake Ontario XI and XII I continue to explore reflective and monochromatic properties of metal to depict elements of natural scenery.
To increase my creative communication, I employ the oxidation process, and combine patinas with burnishing techniques. No color tints or dies of any kind are used during the execution of the artwork.
For the full experience, I invite the viewer to move around the pieces in order to interact with them from different vantage points in as reflecting light provides endless experiences.
