Archival pigment inks

Edition 1/1

Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters:  Taken July 12, 2018, Rogers Centre, Toronto.  Dave Grohl is about family, having fun with his friends, moving his musical vision forward and giving the fans the best show possible at every stop on a tour.  That philosophy has garnered him the moniker of “the nicest guy in rock”.  Dave’s shows are juggernauts that start big and end bigger.  He gives every show his whole self while still showcasing his bandmates and special guests.  David McDonald loves this shot for the sheer sweat, commitment to the song and performance as well as the intensity displayed, its performance at its peak.

Artist Statement:  Dave loves shooting and specializes in concert photography.  Music was one of his first passions, which is why he strives to capture the intensity of it played live along with the musicians who perform it as well as creating it himself as a life long bass player.  He's drawn to images that capture his eye and it doesn't matter whether it's an intense performance, something quirky, beauty in an abandoned space, a stunning vista or a striking person.
