Josh Kiszka of Greta Van Fleet:  Taken July 8, 2018, Rebel, Toronto.  This was ostensibly Greta Van Fleet’s first show in Toronto, other than a prior intimate, Win-To-Get-In show at The Velvet Underground for the listeners of 94.9 The Rock, the first station in Canada to support them.  The show was wild, everyone knew that they were young, that they could play and that they wore their influences on their sleeves.  Their virtuosity, combined with their ability to write great songs and their sheer love of playing astonished the crowd.  The show was video-taped and you can catch the back of Dave’s head as he’s shooting away in the pit in the live video for the song "Highway Tune”.
Artist Statement:  Dave loves shooting and specializes in concert photography.  Music was one of his first passions, which is why he strives to capture the intensity of it played live along with the musicians who perform it as well as creating it himself as a life long bass player.  He's drawn to images that capture his eye and it doesn't matter whether it's an intense performance, something quirky, beauty in an abandoned space, a stunning vista or a striking person.
