North On Gladstone

Acrylic on Wood Panel

40” x 30”

As a toddler my life was saved from drowning by the family dog Tiger who pulled me from a marsh in his mouth. My very existence today is owed to the decisions that dog made in 1972. This experience has rooted deep within my soul to this day. In each painting I explore ambulating through my muse Declan (pr. Deck-lan) in which he is symbolic of me as he ambulates through my beloved Toronto in this series. - Brandon Steen, painter
