Massey Hall was designated a \u003c\/span\u003eNational Historic Site of Canada\u003cspan\u003e on June 15, 1981. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe hall closed in July 2018 for a two-year-long renovation including a new seven-storey addition and two smaller concert rooms. It re-opened in 2021. Photographer Gary Ray Rush anticipated photographing this iconic building after the renovation was complete. Gary photographed sections of the building with a high-res camera, he then merges the photos together into a panorama.
