"Earth! A Myth?" is inspired by the magnificence of our planet - of how all the elements come together to create the perfect balance which is the cradle of all life forms. The painting represents the beauty of Earth as seen from both above and within. Amit has used the elemental palette of colors to depict the sky, the sea, lagoons, forests ...all that are now threatened by the way humans have exploited nature and its resources. If the world does not start to take some serious measures to undo the damage that has already been done, this beautiful Earth might soon just be a myth.
