This November a selection of talented emerging / independent artists will be curated into a group exhibition titled FLECK FINE ART "BEST OF NEW SUBMISSIONS".


The Exhibition will be held at the Elaine Fleck Gallery from Nov 01 to Nov 15, 2019, with an opening night reception on Friday, November 1st from 7 - 9 pm.

Each artist selected will have approximately 60 wide x 80 high inches of wall space for the duration of the exhibition.

Each artist selected will be promoted on our website and to our mailing list of over 4,000 art patrons. The promotion will include each artist's name, a curated artwork with media, dimensions and year, along with a brief artist statement.

The Exhibition will also be promoted through the Elaine Fleck Gallery's Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin and Twitter feeds.

The Elaine Fleck Gallery represents some of Canada’s highest selling artists, Many of these artists started with a submission to a "BEST OF NEW SUBMISSIONS" exhibition...

Lloyd Arbour applied and was accepted to the "Best Of New Submissions" exhibition in 2013, Lloyd received the mentorship and support of Elaine Fleck. Lloyd is now represented and featured regularly at the gallery. Through the Elaine Fleck Gallery, Lloyd’s art has been featured on the TV show Suits and The Strain III and has been the featured artwork on trailers for both shows! His cutting-edge, photography-based, digital composites, have been placed in incredible collections.

Melissa Tseng after participating in the "Best Of New Submissions" exhibition has had several of his series exhibited at the Elaine Fleck Gallery. Just this month Elaine Fleck has sold a 9 x 6 foot commission that Melissa is very excited to be working on!

Brandon Steen took seriously Elaine Fleck’s advice and mentorship. Brandon submitted to the "Best Of New Submissions" exhibition and has gone on to be one of the Elaine Fleck Gallery’s top-selling artists with sell-out shows, highly sought after commissions and an impressive list of clients. April 2019 the Elaine Fleck Gallery is pleased to exhibit Steen's 3rd SOLO Show titled "Waking Up".

Mary Ann Slater was a curator's choice winner in the fall 2017 edition of Fleck Fine Art " Best Of New Submissions". The gallery received a lot of interest in her work, sales were strong and Mary Ann Slater is now added to the Elaine Fleck Gallery roster of artists. June 2019 the Elaine Fleck Gallery is pleased to exhibit Slater's first SOLO show.

Bill Hornbostel submitted to the winter 2016 "Best Of New Submissions", and became a member artist at the Elaine Fleck Gallery in 2017. Bill's production and sales are strong and since September 2017 has been represented by the Elaine Fleck Gallery. 

Alina Holodov Submitted to the"Best of New Submissions" in 2018, she was accepted and exhibited and went on to attended mentor sessions with both gallerist Elaine Fleck and photographer Gary Ray Rush. Alina's SOLO exhibition "I Am Cuba" exhibiting at the Elaine Fleck Gallery for the Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival is scheduled for May 2019.

How to submit: 

In Person: Independent and emerging artists may submit through a portfolio review with the gallery owner, curator, and art dealer Elaine Fleck. Portfolio reviews are scheduled and generally last up to an hour. You are required to bring at least one piece suitable for an exhibition, the rest can be viewed in a portfolio or digitally or from a website. There is a $25.00 portfolio review fee payable at the time of your appointment. Aside from being considered for the "BEST OF NEW SUBMISSIONS" Exhibition, portfolio reviews are an excellent opportunity for emerging / independent artists to benefit from the advice of an art industry leader.

The total marketing and exhibition cost to each artist selected is $575.00 plus 13% HST.


Each artist submission will be acknowledged and the ten artists selected for the FLECK FINE ART BEST OF NEW SUBMISSIONS EXHIBITION will be notified.
