Katherine Blaszczak is a painter from Mississauga, Ontario, and her work is primarily focused on diamonds. 

By concentrating on the metaphysical properties that the subject matter evokes, Katherine aims to create a visual field that is eye-catching and stimulating. She begins with a geometric blueprint, and then intuitively builds the image with bold and clean facets of colour.  Her recent works use visual tools like repetition, mirroring and magnification to reflect the concepts she conveys.
