The kitchen in Hotel Aralsk, in Aralsk, Kazakhstan. Note that the stove is being used as a cupboard. The Aral Sea has all but disappeared as a result of intentional draining during the Soviet era to irrigate cotton crops in what is now Uzbekistan.
